Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data GearSync Pro collects, how it's used, and your choices. GearSync Pro is provided by WheelHouse Forms LLC ("we," "us," "our"). GearSync Pro is built to keep as little of your data as possible on our servers — most of it never leaves your browser.

1. Data That Stays on Your Device

Your inventory, listing drafts, financial ledger, seller profile, theme preference, and any marketplace tokens you paste into Settings (like a Reverb personal access token) are stored only in your browser's local storage. We do not receive, see, or store this data on our servers. Clearing your browser data or switching devices/browsers erases it — use the app's built-in export/backup feature if you want a copy elsewhere.

2. Data We Do Collect

A small amount of data is necessarily handled server-side to make purchases and cross-posting work:

• Pay-per-use credit purchases — if you buy credits, we store the email address you checked out with, your Stripe checkout session ID, and how many credits you've purchased/used. This is what lets you use credits from any device by re-entering that email.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number. Stripe's own privacy policy governs that data.
• Marketplace dispatch requests — when you post a listing, the listing details and your marketplace credentials for that request pass through our serverless functions to relay the request to the marketplace (e.g. Reverb, eBay). We don't retain this beyond what's needed to complete that request and keep eBay's connection token refreshed for you.

3. Cookies & Tracking

gearsync.pro and the app do not currently use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. If that changes, we'll update this policy.

4. How We Use Data

We use the data described in Section 2 solely to process your purchase, track and let you recover pay-per-use credits, relay marketplace dispatch requests you initiate, and send you purchase-related notifications (like a purchase confirmation or a low-credits notice) if that feature is enabled. We don't use your email for marketing.

5. Who We Share Data With

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the Service, with:

• Stripe — payment processing;
• Supabase — hosts the database that stores credit purchase/usage records;
• Vercel — hosts the serverless functions that relay marketplace requests and process purchases;
• The marketplace(s) you choose to dispatch a listing to (e.g. Reverb, eBay), using the credentials you provided.

6. Data Retention & Your Choices

You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove all locally stored data. We retain credit purchase/usage records as needed to honor unused credits and for basic transaction recordkeeping. To request deletion of your purchase records, email us at the address below — we'll honor reasonable requests, subject to any recordkeeping we're legally required to keep.

7. Children's Privacy

GearSync Pro isn't directed to, and we don't knowingly collect data from, anyone under 18.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the data described above, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted here with an updated effective date.
